Korah

today was extremely impacting and emotional for me and my team. this was my first visit in Korah, the poorest part of Ethiopia. it is the "trash dump community", and lives up to its name. the ground is made of mud, trash, (human) waste and parasitic water. people are living in "homes" smaller than our bathrooms; the walls are clay and the floors are dirt. it smells of rotten food and feces. words hardly describe this place...i find it horrific these beautiful people have to struggle to pay to live here.

the conditions of the people living inside these "houses" are unimaginable. i couldnt even take pictures.
